Journey on the c2c Class 720 (Carriage: 450611) Barking - Ockendon

And now for a trek on a trains, from road to rails, a commonplace commuter connector of the centrepiece city and central coast cheer, on the c2c line now, with the new boys in town.
Our train traction today is one of the gleaming new Bombardier Aventra Class 720 trains, which comprise an order of the 12 5-car units, which have gradually been entering service from September 2023, with this being the penultimate, at time of recording, 720611. These 720s are based at either of their two main depots, East Ham & Shoeburyness.
Our journey sees us on a journey towards Grays (there was engineering work at time of recording, oh joy), so today's video sees us depart from Barking and head to Ockendon via Upminster, whilst also by-passing 7 stations served by stopping District Line trains.
