Saddens me to see this ride in such a state. I remember riding this as a younger kid and being genuinely scared. It has some of the coolest architecture out of any park, Disney and Universal included. Hopefully SeaWorld throws some money at this.

I rode this like 2 weeks ago and there were no story elements like no voice lines during the dark ride part. I hadn't ridden in about 12 years but the drops and coaster portion were quite smooth and enjoyable, only bumpy part was the chain lift up to the first main drop lol

They should bring back the story aspect of the ride where you follow the seahorse and escape the siren because this is still not as good as the original

This was the first big ride I went on as a kid and I was terrified of the Medusa statue I used to call her the scary lady and when I went down that drob I screamed like I was gonna die but I eventually got use to this ride and now it's my most fav ride ever the Medusa still kinda creepy lol

I'm sorry but this new version is just a joke compared to the original version.. it was a roller coaster of terror where you really felt like you were entering an unknown and controversial world where at first you were welcomed but along the way the tension and the mystery take over... the synchronism of the effects with the sound and the path transformed this attraction into something unique.. it makes me sad to see what it turned into

The main drop of pretty smooth but the second drop is rough a bit

The second roller coaster portion is definitely a lot better than it was. Also, after the first drop the mini drop near the last lift hill was fixed too. It does throw you in the side of the boat.

Just went and the line was long. It's old (besides the retrack I guess) and everything is constantly wet, so it often has mini breakdowns
