Go makkah or madina like the prophet did? Going to karbala is adding on to islam. Surah al maidah 5:3 - This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islām as religion. This verse clearly demonstrates deen is complete and we can't add on from what the Qur’an states and what the prophet Muhammad PBUH taught, did and said.

Our Prophet ‎ﷺ said ‘I am leaving behind two things the book of Allah and the Ahlu Bayt’ is reported by Imam Muslim (rahimahullah). @@nomsey10Where is your Logic? Why would the prophet (pbuh) go to a random place in the middle of desert while his grandson Hussain (as) was alive and just 6 years old? Karbala happened many years after the death of the Prophet, he had no need to go there. But if your so willing to follow his Sunnah then when he said ‘Hussain is from me i am from Hussain’ what does that mean to you? Or his Sunnah of when he cried for the death of imam hussain as he knew what would happen to him after his death? At least follow the Full Sunnah
