There actually a spot in the look out where you can get stuck. If you fall in between some rocks, you can’t jump out because of the weird mechanic where whenever you go near out of bounds, your character slows down and can’t jump as a way of telling out that it’s out of bounds

For people who stuck at 196 coin: for me, there was a hidden place where you was going to the town. In the video at 3:54, opposite it, there's a stare lead to a yard contain fire hydrants, maybe you will find the last 4 coins.

In the docks go towards the building with the crane. Theres a poster of the governor on the building with the crane. Go opposite of the poster an theres a crate that can b opened. That was the last one for me Edit: i was at 197 coins at the end until i found the last crate

If people are stuck on 196 at the very end, I had the same issue and found that searching a certain box on the left of the archway with a lantern hanging down just before you enter the town square contained the last money. Go up the stairs and you should find an extra sneaky box.

This took me like 2 hours to solve this amazing always night purple HDR puzzle level without any help. Its more and more satisfying every time you progress to the next puzzle item key to find out where it goes and when. The coconut was the hardest to associate with the murray head on the mantle. Anyways... great, short and to the point walkthrough. I came back to see where all the money is to buy the book!

To make this more clear for anybody, as he was right and there is where my last 4 were. If you face the Scumm Bar, Turn right and you will see a small shed with two oars laying against the wall. To the right of these there is a crate that you can open and potentially find ones you missed. Thank you for the comment bro

Be careful when doing these steps in the beginning. If you acidentally skip the mini cutscene with the skeleton and the piranha poodles you'll be bugged out of finishing the tall tale, and you'll have to restart the whole thing.

very nice and easy guide to follow, tyvm for the precision, idk if any1 mentioned it or if i missed it in the video, but at the end if you are short of money ( like i was with my 199 coin / 200 for the book ) there is no way to get back into the church, to look around if you missed a piece, both church and inn doors were closed for me with no interaction to reopen them, inn was fine tho since you can jump in from the back to talk to the dogo a 6th time but no luck on that final coin, my guess is i missed it in the church even tho i thought i looked everywhere :( .did 5 laps of the island hoping to find the final coin with no luck :( seems like ill have to do it again just for that lol

2024 pro Tip: if you dont get enough for the book at the end leave the tall tale but you have to get to the part where the skeletons spawn :) when you go back you will have to grab the coins from the mansion again and then you will have enough to purchase the book. (I did it non intentional and somehow it worked)

They update the tall tales which means if you want completion you have to do all three all over again

@@ConCon if you use the guides that you made back when the tall tales first came out you would get all the rewards however now that they added additional rewards for completing the tall tales You're now going to have to do each tall tale over again to get those rewards so you can get that little check mark for tall tale completion
