Thank you very much for this educative episode. I believe the black race cannot truly be free until African leaders demand and receive apologies and reparations from Europe and the US over slave trade. We must also interrogate aspects of our culture that made our forebears easy prey to such heinous interaction with the white race. Unfortunately, the fact that none of these is madatorily taught in high schools reveals how long the journey is towards blacks emacipation. This is not about sowing hatred in our youths but letting them know where we're coming from as a people. Oluwa o t'ubo ma fun'yin se o, Olootu.

It was a terrible case. They suffered our people including children. This is a story that every elementary and secondary school all over Nigeria should be have as one of their History book and many others. It's so unfortunate that documentary like this as important as educative as it is not purpularly known. Government should fund schools to doing excusion trip to this location and many other historical places. God help our leaders to that such is necessary.

I strongly believe that the day African nation started using their languages in their land, Africa shall fulfill their destiny. Ki Olorun alaye ko gba lowo awon asaju wa to tawa soko eru yi o. At 1:13:25 secs, the tour guide said "Black Americans have started to do dna tests and majority have discovered that they're from this land but unfortunately, they cannot link which family exactly their forefathers were from.. Brother, yes that is possible... A dna/tech company should set up for indigenous families of Badagry and the several families in and around the Brazillian quarters in Lagos Island...That way, the results of the ancestry search from the diasporas seeking to trace their roots , would madge in the middle so the enquirer would know almost certainly which indigenous family is he/she blood related to..

These Oyinbos committed heinous crimes against Africans and our ancestors. However, what nobody is talking about is the first version of slavery conducted by the Arabs who castrated our men. Today, we have African Americans because in the end, there was no genocide committed against the Africans that were transported. So you have black people in Brazil, the various Islands and even Cuba! etc. Where are the African Arabs? If African are able to trace these crimes, we won’t even go near their religions and cultures because that’s still the aftermath of the slavery movements.

Please, correct this TOUR GUIDE Olootu. Our forefathers were not Slaves. They weren’t born to be Slaves. They were rather, the ENSLAVED people. The same destruction that the Obas of those days in collaboration with the Europeans reigned on our people back then is the same path that they are following today by going against the actualization of the Yoruba Nation and by keeping mute whenever the Fulani herdsmen engage in the killings of our people.
