One of my all time favorite pieces from Journey to Silius since I was a kid. So glad to hear a rocking remix of it. Do you happen to have a copy of it without the vocals? The vocals are great, and well done, but I am a huge fan of pure instrumental and would love a copy of this with just the instruments. If it's possible, thanks!

I'm the producer of this remix. Yeah, 2:17 is where I was like, time to do my own thing, but still using the underpinning of the NES original. Good ears! And, thanks for listening! Edit: that breakdown is directly from trance music: drop out everything, supposed to make you feel like you're suspended in air, figured it might work in synthwave. The TR-909 snare buildups (like at 3:07) are also from trance music.

@@ballandpaddle I am a huge fan of Silius and other Sunsoft games, also I made a Silius mod for other 3D FPS shooters (A very old version of Fallout 3, and Cortex Command (available on steam)). The ending vocals (Moh-oh) were so eerie and semi organic that it made my skin crawl. That was the impact your music had and it preserved the original while contributing new content. If I go back to Silius modding, your song would be perfect for modernizing Journey to Silius.
