Felicity, CA was founded in 1986 by Jacques-Andre Istel and is home to the "official" Center of the World and Museum of History in Granite. The site became the center of the world after Mr. Istel wrote a children's book, then Imperial County and later France recognized the location as the official center of the world. The most impressive thing there however is the Museum of History in Granite.
The Museum of History in Granite has 18 granite monuments with detailed history of things such as California, the United States, the world, art, the oceans, the French Foreign Legion, and more.New sections are still being added. The site also includes a Maze of Honor, the church on the hill, and even original stairs from the Eiffel Tower.
For more info on Felicity check out the town's website: felicity.us

That's a completely different story of the tour than what I heard about. Two well know comics say that there is a very sinister experience but maybe that's because they are very Hollywood and take everything as to be versed around security and not ever to be taken as is. That plaque wall looked absolutely brilliant and too bad the maze wasn't completed. I can only imagine what's next to be put on the wall. They should be a section for math if you plan on making that area a maze. It kind of reminds me of the Georgia Guild stones tho in a way.

No it’s not…. He brought his family to this land of sacrifices. 6:42 ties it all up if you really paying attention. Let alone there is a video of people going into the chapel that had two chairs on it with blood… This place is not a place of remembrance, the alters of are there to invoke spirits. The hand sun-clock isn’t there to be a clock but rather to point one in the direction of the chapel… the chapel of witchcraft… there is much more than what this video displayed. Ignorance is blissful now but when we all have to face our creator, ignorance won’t be that. Idk you probably never will but work out your salvation with FEAR and TREMBLING

I don't know if I would ever get to visit this part of the world, but thank you for sharing all these really neat places! Because of COVID, I won't be going to Arizona this summer, but if I haven't all ready travelled to Simi area, I absolutely want to find some way to get here from Phoenix to Simi. If you know of some bus tours that are off the usual tourist track, what would you recommend. California is a place I want to go after COVID. I have friends in LA, San-Fran, Simi and San Diego, so I think there is a very very large area to potentially explore. I think the friends in San Fran might be more apt to be the explorers, and my hope is to spend a few days chilling with my Simi friends :)

Wow! Great video, Steve. What an amazing place and an amazing man. Did not know he was responsible for HALO. Istel first tried parachuting in 1950, and quickly became an expert. He soon started popularizing parachuting in America by touring college campuses and leading the American team he organized to the World Championship of Parachuting in 1956. Istel, at that time a Captain in the reserves, wrote to HQMC recommending the use of free fall parachuting for reconnaissance. The letter ultimately led to the "HALO" (high altitude low opening) project.

You mentioned the US Army Golden Knights, they train at the US Army Yuma Proving Ground that is located about 20-25 miles east of Felicity.

Except this poor guy was never a Rothschild, it takes very little research to find out these girls are full of 💩. Don't believe everything, and don't be so judgy. It turns out these are really decent people, he had an amazing life full of action and made his money enjoying his job. This not Dr. Evil's lair, it's Mr. Fantastic's!

What Jacques-Andre Istel did as a great gift to future generations..... I hope more markers like this are being made around the World while we still have the technology to work the hard stone that can last for thousands of year..... Just simple markers that point to True North at the time of their construction will help future generations reconstruct the knowledge of the Procession Of The Equinoxes (the Earths wobble)....... Thank you very much for posting this. I didn't know it existed......
