As someone who trains horses as well, you always have to expect the unexpected!! They teach us as much or more than what we teach them. Thank-you for sharing this journey with all of us. I'm sure Bossman will make a full recovery. He's got youth on his side, and that's always a benefit when dealing with EPM. I know of a Clydesdale Stallion who did 2 rounds of treatment, with red cell added to his alpha pro, and to watch him now in the field, he's running and playing with his pasture mate Champ. You cant tell that he was so ill just a few short months ago. There is hope!! I have had 2 diagnosed with EPM over the past 18 months.... one responded well to treatment, the other was an OTTB rehab project that suddenly was neurologic so I was called to pull him off the track, and he crashed on me. He was too far gone by the time we got test results for him to respond well to treatment, and then you factor in track let down into the mix. I ended up making a tough decision and putting him down. It's so emotionally taxing to watch an animal be healthy and to struggle so much the next. I'll be sending lots of prayers for a full and complete recovery with no long-term symptoms. I love his name "Boss Man". The rest of your babies are looking awesome. The cremello is my favorite.

So sorry to hear "Boss Man" has been diagnosed with EPM. Another You Tube channel (Homestead Horsemanship) has had experience with EPM, in a Missouri Fox Trotter and a Clydesdale draft horse. They might have share insights into how they have approached treatment and recovery. They have been pretty open about the topic. Good luck with treatment and recovery!

Loved watching this vid. Hard work and even more difficult decisions. So many small tips, those are the ones that make a well broke horse. Baby Flo boy demonstrates a powerful gathering up for the turn. Those close ups were fantastic. Watchy horses will keep you on your toes, but they will come on and take hold of some of the not so good ground. Bossman is a good name❣️Sorry he has EPM. Having been thru that 90% positive for my good mare, she is fine now and recovery was fairly quick, back running since that episode 3 years ago. We did a second treatment of Toltrazuril and feel like that was a good thing. Thanks for sharing the Journey. Look forward to more💕

Loving Golo…this series has seriously been a huge help to me.l and giving me more confidence. I’m training futurity colts for the first time. I have a gelding very much like Flomello, scared of his own shadow but works an amazing pattern. He just finds something to spook at. I never let him stand still very much.

WOW! I held my breath in every turn but when the Bossman(aka babyflo baby) started acting funny, my heart sank. I pray his recovery is great and you get to ride him again. Then there were 2 and now you are down to 1? No way, I trust your judgment and I definitely hope you are able to take 2 to the Juveniles. We all get used to our own bloodlines and know how to train them.. stepping out of the bloodlines we aren’t familiar with is always tough. It makes you a better horsemen/horsewoman.
