The idea of the chaos gods being rolled into the religion as "saints" is incredibly attractive and interesting. Theres a lot of weirdness and unique ideas that can be mined out of real world catholicism, especiallly around the middle ages. Imagine a church having an adorned relic of St Khorne, a finger bone, or a battered and stained butchers apron, encased in a gold adorned reliquary. I think the idea of a little procession of priests and acolytes with the reliquary on a wagon would be very cool and an interesting addition to any chaos army. If you havent read him, Michaek Moorcock, who was a big inspiration for the original warhammer lore, really delves into the idea of Chaos not being necessarily bad or evil, just being the antithesis to the cosmic force of Law. There must always be a balance between Law and Chaos, and youre not a generic evil spiky thug just because youre on the chaos side of things.

Such a cool piece, and I absolutely love the eraser linocut idea!!! And I love seeing family collabs! 😊 There’s something instantly recognizable in any tongue about Dads going, “We’ll just do some of that there, and… y’know… use one a’… and a little of the ol’… and you’re all good.” 😆 And the very human, worshipful approach to the chaos gods is such a real, down-to-earth viewpoint, I think that’s just perfect!!!

c'est bin magnifique ! Really like the spoonbill figure head and the volumes you got wit your clouds. Glad to hear some future drops of minis as well - look forward to trying to snag one next time !
