本集剧情：
在深山枯松涧有一个红孩儿，他是牛魔王与铁扇公主的儿子，法术高强，顽皮好胜，正等着唐僧师徒路过，一心想用唐僧肉孝敬父母。红孩儿用苦肉计骗取了唐僧的信任，乘机将唐僧掳进火云洞。悟空、八戒前去寻师父，红孩儿率领一群小妖精，口喷烈火，烧得悟空、八戒落荒而逃。悟空请来四海龙王，从空中撒下雨水，火不但不灭，反而愈烧愈烈，悟空也被烧伤，跌落深涧。悟空昏迷不醒，奄奄一息。龙王与八戒救醒悟空，八戒自告奋勇去请观音，却被红孩儿变化的假观音捉进洞去。最终真观音用莲花宝座，降伏红孩儿，收他做了善财童子。

Just remember, each of the characters is supposed to represent a facet of humanity; Wukong is intelligence and curiosity, the desire to seek wisdom. Tripitaka is humanity itself, the neutral aspects, unable to attain enlightenment without the help of intelligence and higher thinking. Bajie represents slothfulness, gluttony, and greed in humanity; the worst aspects of human condition. He cannot attain enlightenment because his appetites for ease overtake his desire to grow
