Giving someone a bus pass especially during the hottest or coldest months is a lifesaver.

Uknow a few years back I was riding a City Bus and there was a Mentally ILL man who was confused He rode that bus and Went to Kmart because in his mind thats the WhiteHouse He would tell the Driver I am going to meet the President like I do everyday. When we get to his Stop The BusDriver said OK There u go say hi to the President 4 me, The Driver told me after the man left, I feel so sad seeing him like this and there is nothing I can do to help him besides giving him a ride daily, It was sad The Driver saw a Homeless man who wants to meet the President but he has no idea about anything,

Well as i end up homeless a few times through each year i always have struggled to find somewhere to sleep. Transit in San Diego isnt too friendly to homeless. Plus its not 24 hrs either.

I wonder how many of these unfortunate people are returned servicemen or women?? I would imagine a large percentage,many suffering PTSD and other mental illnesses as well as physical disabilities that stop them living the life they "should" have, but are physically,mentally and financially unable to do so... until the government takes care of those who go to war ,who experience one atrocity after another and live on a knifes edge never knowing for one minute what is about to happen and then come back often suffering as badly as they were in war..(except this time the terror is in their own mind,the memories of things no one should be made to experience leading to many taking their own lives rather than go there day after day)....instead of being safe back home they are usually left high and dry unless they have family to help them through.Although I have seen wonderful docs of the care these soldiers get on returning home it does not come near to enough to help everyone needing help. the homeless rate of returned servicemen will never improve until those in power use it to truly help the ones who need help..but then pigs might fly sooner...............

@RisenOnFire9 жыл бұрын
3point0Gamer It's not meant to be a documentary. It's a piece of art, and it's very informative, if you'd take a second to watch and understand. P.s. I bet you didn't watch to the end but it explains that the route 22 is the only 24 hour bus in silicon valley and homeless people have been using it to sleep for years. That's all you really need to know, because any social commentary would have been trite.

Thinking pragmatically, it might be 'useful' if the bus servicing Si Valley's homeless suffered an 'accident' every-so-often that served to reduce the magnitude of the transient problem.

@newmannewmanz71109 жыл бұрын
June28July Cos you are stupid. Bush is history and Obama is the president of America right now, you can't expect history to change your present situations. $18trillion debt is not enough for nitwit people like you to see the problems America are in. Debt is growing under Obama administrations, not shrinking. If people keep blaming the past then Great people like Steve Jobs, Eminem, Jay-Z will be unknown and Obama won't even be president. Japan would be third world if they blame the US and do nothing. Future American generations are going to clean up those $18trillion debts and it's growing, have some common sense!! it's your children who's going to clean up the mess not you.
@June28July9 жыл бұрын
Newman Newmanz You realize some homeless would be homeless regardless of what the national debt is.
@newmannewmanz71109 жыл бұрын
June28July Cos Obama doesn't care about ordinary people after he got elected. look at more crimes, more racism, more violence and more divisions in society but Obama have time for playing golf when American heads are decapitated, Obama have time to attend talk shows when there's racism violence in the country, Obama goes for holiday when there's illegal immigrants killing innocent Americans etc.. etc.. No wonder the country is in huge debt and more homeless people on the streets. Maybe you should talk to these homeless people and listen to their stories.
@June28July9 жыл бұрын
Newman Newmanz Obama should just wave his magic wand to make all the bad things in the world disappear.
