Some settlers do not see themselves as an obstacle for peace. On the contrary - they see their presence as a way to build new relationships with Palestinians. They argue that the Settler issue has the easiest of solutions. Why couldn't they continue to live within a Palestinian state? Nachum Pachenik is a settler from the illegal settlement of Sde Boaz and a co-founder of the Land of Peace movement. "For me it's not about keeping the land... it's about achieving real peace." Ziad Sabatin, a Palestinian member of 'Land of Peace' specifically wants to get in touch with settlers because they are the very enemy with whom peace has to be made. "I have come to the conclusion that terror leads only to more terror. If you get to know each other, the fear disappears". Despite the willingness of both sides, making peace in occupied territories is still a potentially dangerous business. "There are people who have very different visions about the future", says Jewish settler Assaf Harel.

I'm sorry to point this out to all of you (from the European Union), but there are still Jews in places like Croatia & Hungary who are unable to return to their homes post WW2 as a result of social protected tenants. Personally I know 36 Jewish families who live in the West Bank solely because Croatia doesn't respect private property & human rights. If Israel doesn't provide refuge to these people, who would???! Croatia basically kicked them out... This is an EU country!

If all Muslims interpreted the Quran the same way as you do along with the minority of Muslims you'd already be dead because there's over a billion of them in the world. The Quranic message isn't to dehumanise Jews and it fact encourages Muslims to protect Synagogues and Churches as Jews and Christians worship the same God. International Holy Land is mentioned here meaning that all all religious claims to the land are seen as equal. If a Palestinian minority can live in a Jewish state then a minority of Jews can also live in a Palestinian state and that's what these Jewish settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank have agreed on in this video. I've been to Israel and the Israeli people aren't synonymous with the Israeli Zionist Government, alot of them actually want to coexist and integrate with their neighbours without borders and checkpoints but have become so used to the status quo as mentioned and Israels government isn't going to let this become an agenda. Its not only prejudice Arabs and Palestinian Muslims that disapprove of a 2 state solution but also right wing Zionist Israelis that have turned Israel into an ethnocracy over the last 70 years in the promised lands contrary to a democracy.
