Today is April 16, remembering the date when Sewol-Ho Tragedy happened six years ago (2014) in southwestern island of Jindo Coast. This tragedy happened when the overloaded Sewol took a sharp turn and capsized, killed 304 people including 250 teenagers from Dawon High School in Ansan who were in their school trip to Jeju. And after 3 years from the tragedy, Sewol finally lifted up in early spring. The fact that “Spring Day”song by BTS bring lot of messages, the feeling of waiting and miss someone, the loneliness and another hidden messages from the lyrics. For me, it is so related. Speechless. Thank you for this cover 🥺 Ever since I learned the history of this song, I never wanted to hear it again but this cover is just so beautiful. I keep praying and hoping that everyone who died in the tragedy are now all in peace and a happy place. It's been years, I swear I wasn't able to sleep for 2 whole nights after watching the documentary regarding the ferry. I can't imagine the feeling of those who really knew the victims and the people involved during the rescue operations. Seeing lifeless bodies of innocent students. So heartbreaking.
