The episode is so crazy for me. Smosh Games and Smosh Pit were my life lines in middle school, physical disabilities were out of control, my mental health was horrible, and I was struggling badly in school. It sounds so cliche but it really was one of the only things that brought me joy. Now, I'm medicated, in therapy and in college and seeing Boze and Joven catch up is weird in a very good way.

Boze your french press story is so relatable to me rn. Im 21 and live for my morning Moka. It’s a routine for me to clean it out every morning then grind my beans and put it on the stove and let her do her magic then 💋🤌🏼 chefs kiss it’s perfection. When I’m having a hard time mentally I don’t make my coffee in the morning and didn’t realize until later in the day and that helps me catch when something is off for me either in my brain or environment and I need to improve in some areas and find the motivation again. Morning coffee becomes essential during these hard years. You explaining how your mind worked with the smosh situation and how you are in general. Honestly a very nice episode to listen to after a shitty meeting with higher ups at my job, following a grievance report. Me from 3 years ago let a similar bad experience beat me down & strip me of all my confidence. This was especially therapeutic /cathartic me. I worked at a company for 20 years. They were a big family owned company and the old man sold it to an investment company before he passed. They sold off all the equity and eventually stopped paying vendors. There were some rumblings about the possibility of going out of business but we were assured we were not. A few days later an email went out with the warn act info. This was end of Feb 2020. Chaos and panic ensued especially when the higher ups decided no refunds for orders customers weren’t going to get and a couple weeks later we got an email not to come back in the building …. And they would advise when we could get our stuff from our desks.

Boze's reflection on her breakdown with the coffee press reminded me of this one time in junior year of Uni when I was going through some heavy mental health, family, and friend issues. That same day I dropped a steel pan at work on my foot, me and my friend decided to walk to DQ after I got off shift. Tell me why some college dudes in a raggity ass car cat call her, I gave them a disgusted look and the dude in the back deadass looked me in the eyes and said "you're ugly anyway." BRO, the amount of rage in me spilled out cuz I started yelling at them as they tore off, literally ready to jump through their open car window and beat the fuck out of em 😭😭 my ass is like 98 pounds, short, and the least confrontational person ever but that shit pushed me over the edge. I was shaking, cursing on the sidewalk like a sailor LMAOO

It makes me sad to hear them say how great of a time that was for them that they would probably never get back again. I’ve been watching old smosh games videos and it makes me miss that group so much. People who were passionate about playing games and were good at them. The only real one left is Damian.
