Epic Motor! Cool OTIS Hydraulic Freight Elevator - American Industrial Center - San Francisco, CA

[Recorded 4-25-23] Welcome to The American Industrial Center! This is a huge warehouse with a lot of cool elevators! Tyler and I have explored this place 3 times and we passed by this elevator every single time. Hidden down at the end of a hallway, we have an original OTIS freight elevator with black buttons! This one is hydraulic, and it appears that has always been the case. The motor was replaced at some point but it sounds awesome!! I love the open cab, you can see pretty much everything in the hoistway, as well as the machine room. The rest of the elevators at this amazing place will be coming in the following weeks!
