Bless you so nice to have you on board, saw JD twice, Leeds was unreal, I came out shocked, but Newcastle City Hall was not so good, you will hate me as I hate myself for it, but was meant to be at Birmingham Gig, got there and ended up going to a Clint Eastwood convention instead, aarrrrrhhhh my mates to blame, he was huge CE fanatic, even acted like him lol

@@benrideout4771 I've done a vid tonight if your interested, got my ARP Omni out of storage to give a Nord sample vs Omni, obviously real Omni wins, it's Analogue compared to digital sample, but it's bloody good sample, I'm sure you will agree and at end of day you loved my digital versions, but wait till you see real thing lol, I get bored I'm nearly 60 so I'd be glad of any requests from you on the Omni and JD

are you sure they used a mellotron. I thought it might have been the Omni through the Marshall Time Modulator. I can run my Omni through a Polymmog Resonator and get Mellotron like sounds or better yet, I made a module of the Roland VP330 Human Voice Filter and if you put the Omni Strings through it it sounds like a mellotron.
@TheArpomni2 Жыл бұрын
I'm very sure now they didn't use the Mellotron, Bernard says it was through the mtm and a ten band graphic, I've tried it through the graphic and got the choir effect, but not like Hannett, but he did record that choir part through a microphone set up in the Pool room ambience via the monitor speakers, hence that distant industrial choir sound, I'll guess we will never know, SynthMania on here has got himself a mtm and he's even struggling getting the Decades, eternal choir with it, Hannett obviously a genius
@edcollins9377 Жыл бұрын
I didn't know you had a mellotron, I've watched most of your videos and don't remember it.

Cheers, I know what you mean, bit of a coincidence as I've another KZbinr who has took interest in me doing it on ARP, so I've got my Omni out of storage and set it up to do him some requests on it, think I'll keep it out permantly, only seems right doesn't it, no good sat in loft,

Ooh what keyboard you ordered so I can have a nosey?
