Joy in Suffering Sermon by Pastor Raleigh Clay from Colossians

We can be joyous in suffering if suffering turns out to be for the advancement of the gospel. Joy for Paul was an outcome of witnessing the gospel increasing and bearing fruit throughout the world, of which he was a servant. If there is any imitation of Christ and of his slave, our suffering for the sake of the gospel can be held with joy in its advancement. Paul told the Corinthian church to “Imitate me as I imitate Christ.” Suffering will not last forever, and the glory that awaits in celebration of the king and his kingdom far surpasses temporal affliction. #gospel #grace #suffering #bible #jesus #christ #god
