I hope everything works out for NewJeans because they are super talented. I just think that Livestream might have been a bridge to far. When you have your youngest member who is only 16 telling Adults who happens to be her boss to pretty much stay in their lane and do their job I don't think HYBE took that very well especially in Korea. Those People pride themselves on respecting your elders you see it in K-POP all the time.

Here’s my opinion- First of all I agree that both side as are awful, hybe has proven that they do not care about and are unfit to take care of new jeans, and min heejin is a groomer (and many other things) who should not be in charge of anyone let alone minors. New jeans are ultimately victims here and I just hope they can get through this with as little trauma as possible. However, just because new jeans are victims does not mean they cannot be criticized about how they’ve been handling the situation, specifically some of the older members who I think should know better. Like I understand min heejin is what feels safe to them, but they have to realize how much trouble she has caused for their own label mates and how much hate her cringy little outburst of a press conference sent towards some of these groups. Sitting there and talking over and over and over about how much they love and need her, especially when they were accepting the award when Eunchae was RIGHT THERE, just shows a lack of self awareness and lack of consideration for their peers. Like I really don’t think any of this is malicious but whether or not it’s malicious it still just doesn’t sit right with me. And once again, I get it, they’re young and not the ones at fault for this situation, but they also have not been making it any better at all either. Compulsively bringing up how much you love your ceo who deliberately sent hate towards your label mates every time you accept an award is really just not helpful in the slightest. And I think it’s okay to point that out and I think you can point that out without being terrible to them online. Also then I first hear a akut the no greeting thing my first reaction was also about how shitty that is, but the more I think about it the more it kind of makes sense. Hybe is currently going through a legal battle with min heejin and the nj members have been so publicly supportive of her that I can see hybe just not wanting to risk their artists giving them any information at all by preventing them from talking to them altogether. Like it’s shitty and probably isn’t the best way to go about it, but like once again this is kind of coming as a result of how tightly and publicly they’ve tied themselves to her. I still feel bad of course but like what do you do?

It’s her desicion , I don’t know why she leaves but Sm has a Bad Reputation, they‘re known for mistreating their Idols, so this can be a reason, we don’t know whats behind the cameras .🤷‍♀️

Speaking of rude, Newjeans refused to even meet the new Ador CEO until they allegedly weren't greeted by a Belift staff member. They also just got a Calvin Klein ambassadorship. Very mistreated and still no empathy for the other victims!

My main issue with this whole Mhj vs hybe thing is how people forget that NJ aren't the only victims. Like everyone is out there saying that NJ are doing great job in speaking up but then proceed to blame LE SSERAFIM or ILLIT for any damn thing and invalid their feeling. And I will stay on my stand, NJ case could have gone so much worse. Their feeling of being isolated is valid but again what do people fucking expected. Mhj has always isolated them from hybe from the very beginning. Ofc, Idk what's going on behind closed doors but based on what I see hybe is still doing their job as a company. Just imagine if they were under sm, they would be done by now.

You ignore the BLATANT disrespect of juniors toward their seniors (NewJeans toward management in the live) while talking about the 'Korean culture' and how important greetings and respect are (Contnually calling Min CEO while refusing to address the actual CEO as such). Hybe generously offered before the LIVE and after to allow Min to stay on as head of creative for the remaining contract (5 yrs). Why would NJ care if she was ALSO CEO? Because it's all about money and what she had promised them and their families when she stole Ador from Hybe, which she now can't do. It stopped being "not the group's fault" when they told the management of their parent company what to do and to stay out of their way. With all the groups out right now (and who keep coming out) who are IMO as good or better musically, why would you sabotage yourselves when you still get to work with the person you are supposedly fighting for? It HAS to be about shady financial shit. I really like the personality of 3 of the girls (usually) but they are all spolied and greedy.
