Congratulations !!!!!!!!

[Google translation from Portuguese] The United States Army Field Band gives a show of brass bands and with a sensational singer. The cult of Jazz is a matter of quality music. Since I was a child I have seen American warships, here in Guanabara Bay, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and always enjoyed watching it on TV TUPI. Jazz in the Armed Forces reminds us of the late Glenn Miller and Orchestra. Congratulations

Congratulations.

Great job! Great voice, scat and phrasing! Who is attributed to these lyrics on your sheet music? Don't think it's Jon Hendricks, he wrote the lyrics to the version Manhattan Transfer recorded in 1985; the Real Group and others recorded this lyric version in Sweden around 1987.
@ArmyFieldBand6 жыл бұрын
I've asked around - if I get an answer, I'll write back. All I can find is "written by the Real Group". Good ears, Barbara!
