Isn't spring your favorite season Watchin' the flowers bloomin' up from the ground Watchin' the snow melt down, boy You may dig winter, boy, but spring is my joy It's got me feelin' so glad The days are breezy You've got the time to say "hello" and give a smile Feelin' real good is in style You may dig winter, boy But spring is my joy It's something special Haven't you observed It makes glad to be alive It's not absurd To say that spring helps you survive The winter's long miserable snow and rain It gives you hope to know That spring will get a refrain You only have to believe The day is comin' The world is hummin' Thinkin' about how good it will be And that goes double for me You may dig winter, boy, but spring is my joy It's something special Haven't you observed It makes glad to be alive It's not absurd To say that spring helps you survive The winter's long miserable snow and rain It gives you hope to know That spring will get a refrain You only have to believe The day is comin' The world is hummin' Thinkin' about how good it will be And that goes double for me

@Hatake: Thank you. It's so good to see the lyrics and so have time to reflect on them - and on St Clifford (seriously). Whom the gods love die young.

Sgt. Cole is an amazing vocalist! NONE of the big name pop starts making the big bucks today could do anything like this; it's too far beyond them. Kudos, Sergeant.

I realize more and more that a lot of these pop singers are actually pretty well-versed in music theory, composition and different styles, but just choose to make simple music to appeal to a bigger audience

Congratulations !!!!!!!!

[Google translation from Portuguese] The United States Army Field Band gives a show of brass bands and with a sensational singer. The cult of Jazz is a matter of quality music. Since I was a child I have seen American warships, here in Guanabara Bay, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and always enjoyed watching it on TV TUPI. Jazz in the Armed Forces reminds us of the late Glenn Miller and Orchestra. Congratulations

Congratulations.

Great job! Great voice, scat and phrasing! Who is attributed to these lyrics on your sheet music? Don't think it's Jon Hendricks, he wrote the lyrics to the version Manhattan Transfer recorded in 1985; the Real Group and others recorded this lyric version in Sweden around 1987.
