Ajmal Shiro/Kuro/Blu Fragrances (Final Thoughts)

Amazing review as always. Just one bit of information. People always assume that Ajmal Perfumes is a middle eastern perfume brand. Little do they know it originated in Assam, India. Assam is a north eastern state in India, sharing a part of its borders with Bangladesh. The founder Haji Ajmal Ali hails from a small town called Hojai, Assam. He started his venture in Mumbai which now is renowned worldwide. The son of Haji Ajmal Ali is Badruddin Ajmal, who now runs the legacy. He is a very influential person and has also served thrice as a Member of Parliament from Dhubri Constituency in Assam. So yes, Ajmal is very much an Indian brand deep down to its roots, and must not be counted along with other middle eastern brands. Hope this comment catches your attention and you can spread the information to other people as well.

Shiro is white in Japanese, Kuro is black in Japanese, so the names are based on colors. Blue in Japanese is Ao, so perhaps Blu is a more marketable name.

I got BLU on a tester and I kept it in my bag, It got me, I brought it. Very nice dry down.

Shiro is like Zegna Uomo without the violet. So it is a bit dry emotionally, amazing day fragrance. Love them both

So if you have Zegna Uomo is Shiro redundant? Are they close enough that you do not need both?

@@karlsenula9495 I wouldn’t say that especially if your collection is 30+ bottles. I like having both. The violet note changes the character of the Zegna, it has a melancholy the other doesn’t have.

I had the shiro but sold it. Its very fruity, sometimes I dont really dig it, too fruity for me but i almost kept it. The black kuro, its good in summer somehow even though it has that touch of sweetness. Very wierd that the sweetness sometimes is better in summer.

Musk is a tad strong for me in Shiro. Joy seems to favor fragrances with musk in the base. Ajmal's Blu also has musk in the base. Ajmal's Kuro has Ambergris, a musky note.

Kuro is better then both. And Kuro def last the longest. My Shiro is 4 hours on clothes.

Yes, i agree AJMAL Kuro EDP is very good. i have PRADA Luna Rossa Carbon EDT but i prefer Kuro.

I believe in Japanese Shiro is white and Kuro is black but Blu should have been named Ao or Aoi for symmetry.

I like the Shiro bottle also. Now the fragrance is ehh. Mine last maybe 4 hours on my clothes😂. Also my Shiro leaks. Kuro had none of those probs. I think out of these 3 I would get Kuro again. I also find it leaned more towards a combination of Aqua Di Gio and Invictus Aqua.

Bought ajmal blu deo and perfume both. In start strong alcohol and water. Didn't like the start. It only projects or works in skin not on clothes and very mild , barely any one could notice. Why people in youtube are overhiping armaf and ajmal...😡
