Just bought it today after testing it again few times and tester strip for some time since release and then yesterday again on my skin, took a shower and still the next day it's on my skin! Very pleased! At some point it reminded me of my John Varvatos Vintage in that very good way and was lucky to have a bottle here in Sweden before it disappeared from shelves. Plus I remember I smelled the Original gold cap in my dad's collection when I was a kid and admired it. btw I was born in 85 and this feels just good as a classic modern for me as coming from classic upbringing and living in modern time. Solid for me for sure!

@@BR540Elove it. Super fresh and smells amazing in the air and performance on clothes is good. Not a beast by any means but very enjoyable. probably will be discontinued but I’m not sure prices will skyrocket cause I don’t think the demand is high like with purple label

The original Polo Green is a unique fragrance. Skip the opening, where the magic starts once it dries down

I agree Joy. This one was a surprise to me, I tried a few samples at the store and this one made me say ‘wow’ it smells very good. I can’t say anything negative about it, other than maybe the performance which is slightly suspect in terms of longevity.

This fragrance originally came out over 40 years ago and it was Awesome, powerful, very pleasant-unique and lasted 10+ hours. Then they changed the formulation which was so disappointing because it was so unique, pleasant. I stopped buying it because the change was so disappointing. There was nothing else like it. If the 2021 version is like that of 40 years ago, it is the best fragrance I've ever experienced.

I agree, it gets no love but it's smooth green and long lasting with a hint of sweetness. I have a back up bottle.

Man, so I got this, did 4 sprays in the same spot ON CLOTHES and the performance is very VERY lacking. Not a noseblind thing bc I confirmed with a co-worker. Very dissapointed. Gone in 2 or 3 hours after that many spray?! No bueno man😢

Polo and Polo Intense are two completely different frags.

In the Fragrancex product catergories, Perfume refers to the Ladies' collection. Cologne refers to Men's.
