I was waiting for that scream when the freezing cold water hits the body🤣 but usually feel so refreshed after to that ... cold water showers also boosts your metabolism too. I usually turn the tap to cold after showering for a couple of minutes. Annabelle playing with the dirt, brings back childhood memories....such joy.

I'm glad Tom experiencing life in Africa with wife's help. The opened latrine outside far away from the house, likewise tiny shower house. Amazing to know how others people going through this daily everywhere in Africa. Now, Joy's family has everything inside, accommodated with the beautiful house. Tom embraces his wife's culture and doesn't seem to shock him too much. When your used to this way of life you get used to it but a bit hard especially cold water to shower with can be a shock to the system. It was the same growing up in Jamaica but much more advanced now with indoor shower and toilet too. Even when I go back to Jamaica I can't do the cold shower in doors.

This is so great, showing a different way of living..A simpler way, so cool. I bet taking a shower like that in the heat of the day would be satisfying 😅..I was going to suggest, if your family built another hutch or two, that you could offer some serious travelers a unique and authentic village experience 👌. Ppl would pay good money for such an authentic experience, full of activities and non-activities 🤷‍♀️..Maybe build the visitors quarters a bit away, with own outdoor bathroom and shower and sleeping hutch..Who knows, it could be a unique tourist business🙏. Your family seems nice, helpful, and resourceful , it could be a good thing👍👏🙌..Though, I would need some type of low seat or low chair in the latrine, cuz I don’t do well squatting for a long time , haha😂😅🤦‍♀️🙋‍♀️😂. Tom, I can see how much you are enjoying yourself. there! How could you not, with the peaceful surroundings , the close-knit families, neighbors, relatives all enjoying each other. I'm curious to know the average life of the people there, because of the calmness, living in so much outdoor nature , families there for one another? I'm not saying they don't have 'stress', but it's not the same as must of us, who are living in fast pace cities, working most of the time, 'stressful careers & jobs', eating out at usually 'fast food' restaurants, all this while trying to raise our families.
