I started reading these when my oldest was in fourth grade. It read it as a family so the younger kids got it too- but I didn’t push it.

I didn't know where to start with my then 10 year old; I opened it up to the first name I recognized, Julius Caesar. He understood it and fell in love with Plutarch. He understood it better than me because he was invested in reading about someone that he had studied in history books previously. He devoured Plutarch over the years; he is now a senior in high school. Boy I'm going to miss homeschool.
