A true message.. based on this verse.... my parents beat me telling me everytime the reason for beating me is this verse.. true to say i was heartbroken . today though i grow up, the pain made me so vulnerable and weak. The emotional, verbal and physical abuse actually resulted in too mucj of mental health damage... It created only fear and always guilt possessed.. When my parents beat and said we are obeying the word of God, there were million times i wanted to commit suicide and until few years i had deep bitterness against my parents. i hated them for being so abusive.. Only By God am alive,now i have many psychological complications.. You can beat children in certain cases but do not abandon them with words when you beat. May God give wisdom to handle children.... As a result, I don t believe a parent can be loving. This goes along with expecting implict obedience. Like choosing education and job , parents say you must obey your parents and force what they like.. which is so painful.. My request, please take care of your children and teach them good things , not in abusive way.... These days kids are already into depression and stressful situations and comparison trap and expected to do things beyond their ability. They need guidance, love and care. when i was working, i have seen my children come to educational institution with so much depressive thoughts particularly when they are able to perform whay their parents expect them. When the authorities call and talk to parents, the parents were not interesed to change their behavior instead they blame the children. So sad to see.. If parents behave like authoritarians then they lose the children . Those who grow up in loving environment tend to be a person who is rich in good character... may God help us

This is very bad brother, pls dont do it, they are ur own children, how do you get this heart to do this to them, kids are helpless, they cant attack back, dont take advantage of them, they are so small, how can you hurt them, they only know to cry...but when they grow up, theyll hate you just as like me, tho my father is a pastor, he always bet us and my mother when we were kids...Dont create fear in them, handle them properly....I hope you have changed brother...Dont you ever curse ur children, they are the one who has to take care of you when you become old...if you dont take care of them and show love, they will not take care of you...I too have the same mentality, i dont have any love for my dad, but i ask the lord to help me to forgive him and even today, im struggling to forgive my father...Its very difficult to forgive, almost impoosible becos of all the things he has done and he is still doing...definitely, I cant have any respect for a person like my father or you, but i appreciate that you want to change...May the Lord help you to change ur behavior...God bless you
