Hi, Joy! We were schoolmates in UP Law (I’m an incoming junior), though I don’t think we’ve ever crossed paths before. I just want to share that I know a little of what you’re feeling because I experienced the same when I was reviewing for my board exams. I completely agree with you that it’s okay not to be consistent with your productivity. It’s okay to rest when you need to! Listen to what your body is telling you. All that studying will be for nothing if your physical and mental health deteriorate. Preparing for board/bar exams isn’t a race. Just keep pushing forward, no matter how slow, and you’ll get there eventually. Good luck and happy birthday! P.S. My favorites from folklore are mirrorball, peace, and the 1.

I really feel you when you said that you’re tired because I am feeling the same way these past few days. Hoping that we’ll feel better and can be as productive as we can. I’m just reminding myself that I may not be as productive during review days as how I was during law school days but a little progress each day adds up to big results. Anyway, I usually listen to just instrumentals or music for concentration on spotify when studying because I tend to sing along and not study whenever I know the song that’s playing. 😅

I'm currently studying for my cets too, it was so hard to prepare for something uncertain. It was unmotivating and it wasn't productive all the time, but knowing that I'm not alone, it gives me that 'validation' that my baby steps are still progress and the mere fact that we are trying everyday, we are being one step closer to our dreams. When i’m just reading, mas okay sa akin if with music. But if I’m memorizing, mas okay wala as long as i’m in a quiet environment. But if maingay like coffee shops, i list to lofi music :) I got on Lazada! But it’s wobbly kasi less than 100 pesos lang haha. I suggest getting a more sturdy one (i think it’s reflective of the price)

Happy birthday po! 🎉🎉 Reviewee here 🙋🏽 if ever i feel demotivated I end up watching videos here, including yours, since I've already deleted my facebook app. I got almost the same routine as you do (except for video editing) and I have the same frustrations too. I think it's normal for us to get behind our study schedule but not that really behind of course. I end up consuming my day offs to compensate for backlogs. They said you don't have to find your motivation, go for discipline instead. Motivation would stop you, but discipline keeps you moving forward. I got these words from my spotify playlist: "Fearless Motivation", you can also watch some of their videos here in YT, too. Whenever it feels so heavy to move forward I listen to these tracks to remind me that I've set a goal and I have to achieve it. I'm not plugging the page or the playlist, it just helped me a lot and I hope it can help you too. BTW, I also listen to alexrainbird music, I love the selection of their music too. I'm wishing you all the luck for the upcoming bar, enjoy studying!
