The dry side pours the dirty water into the wet side. Both sides will have dirty water in them.

You have to wring it out on the dirty side before using the soapy side to avoid that from happening once you start mopping.

I think o have an older version? Mop slots are opposite directions and there is only 2 slots and no extra space. It goes into wash slot but not dry. Mop wont go down even with mop rod into the rod slot

@@SimplyMary when purchasing from Amazon single dry scraper is $39 and double dry scraper is $58.

@@jeffreyl5151 I am confused because this is a mop. I am not showing a scraper here. There is only one version of this mop and bucket set that I know of.I wish I could help you out with that question.

@@SimplyMary the scraper is inside, that's what allows you to push the dirt and water out. On Amazon, you have two styles 1 with one scraper or 1 with two scrapers.
