People get defensive when called out. Im white and can relate to both sides. Understanding can change the world.

This song was written by a black man.The "racist" white guy is lip syncing.The person actually rapping is a black man.

8:07 I understand where you are coming from, but it’s a “slave term” either way am I wrong? The word was associated with putting black people down. It doesn’t matter who’s saying it it’s still a derogatory term
@Hoodiedre2166 жыл бұрын
It’s not one sided it’s from our perspectives it’s different for every body and that’s just what it is we all take a view on the issue different the solid and main point is to come to a solution at the end of the day period
@ricardorodriguez43166 жыл бұрын
Hoodie_dre21 you said period and forgot the period lmao
Ya know joyner is black right? The white guy is an actor, used to portray some of the white stereotypical grievances. That's the point, yo look, racism always goes both ways, no matter what the issue.... I'm white, still I think of every human as my brother or sister, no cap.... give love, recieve love.... that's just where I'm at.... generalising gets the world nowhere, that goes for any side of any argument or problem. Love from belgium, keep it real.

Aight, I need to ask you guys this, cause I got some friends who are black, they greet me with "ay niggah was good" and so I respond in kind.... how is that racist, I know there's a bunch of pain hidden in it, but if my homeboys find it aight, what's the issue, I ain't gonna do that with just anybody, all depends on context and brotherly love I feel honestly

Same. This world is beyond crazy right now. And, although, our community does suffer by the lack of male presence, we have seen nothing but yt people do the worst of things. It’s hard to even know how to feel anymore.

Racism is bred into people you’re not born racist you LEARN racism that’s why I’ve always told my children that no matter race religion or ethnicity or gender or skin colour we’re all human beings we’re one race the human race and my children are now understanding different religions (they’re 10 & 9) I told them about Muslims and how and why they pray I told them about Christians about catholics ect ect however I’m not religious but I love everything and everyone I’m at peace with the world if you’re good with me I’m good with you simples

Some of the stuff the white dude said is VERY true, but hard to swallow for black people. And, the opposite is true; some of what he said is not so true, is long-time stereotyping, and doesn't really apply any more. The exact same si true of when the black dude talks. Some is true, some is not. The "thing" here is Joyner is trying to get not just the view from one side or the other, but both. And part of that is for you, me, and all, to try not to "justify", or explain it all away, but to face it. If, you (meaning anyone) gets too defensive about it all, it means you may be a part of the problem. That is what this is about...

Picking a side makes you part of the problem. Very one-sided, shallow discussion of the issue.
