Great comparison Rod! I am a long time Marshall guy and I will have to go with the Joyo. I use a Marshall Code 50 which is a digital modeling amp and sometimes sounds that way and with the Joyo I get am actually Marshall sound. Very cool

Thanks Chip! I’m a fan of the series. I actually use the American for my duo gigs and stack 3 gain stages and four other reverb, delay and modulation pedals before it. It sounds good. The British can’t get quite as clean and it’s not meant to!

They both sound pretty similar to my ears. Buy the one that fits your budget and be happy.
