August 2023: It appears on the Joyo site this has now been replaced by the BSK-80. Currently, I can not find either the 60 or the 80 for sale in the US. Joyo site not list dealers. I really wanted to check one out. Well, my Fishman Loudbox Mini is not bad....
@dblat12912 жыл бұрын
The USA affiliate link does not have this amp on the website. Only Swamp via ebay has this listed for sale in the USA. And even with that, it's not clear that you'd get the proper electric cord, mains power for those not in the USA. It has just about everything you'd want in an acoustic amp. I have the Boss Acoustic singer live, but this seems to have those features and then some with the battery and mounting features. Great review!

I bought this a few months ago planning to use it at small venues, occasions with friends around or even busking. Great sound but as said, for small set ups. The sound will distort a bit if you try to crank it up using guitar and mic at the same time. Also the mic volume you have to crank it a lot up in order to match the guitar volume. I used a Shure SM58.

I think is one of the best reviews of any type of equipment that I've seen here on You Tube! Here in Germany, Joyo is pretty much an unknown brand, so I was doubtful about what the quality would be like. Here in this review is all the solid detailed information I needed to help in making a decision which amplifier is suitable for my own needs. I think the genuine enthusiasm, and the obvious fun you had demonstrating this amp, sold it to me! Not sales pitch. Solid good genuine opinion and Aussie honesty and enthusiasm. Thank you! 👍😊

I looked at that one when I was in the market for an acoustic amp. It's great looking, 60W output, lots of effects and Joyo make some great products for the money. But at $600AU it's on the pricier side of amps from Artistguitars and because of it's size it's quite hefty. I ended up getting the Joyo AC40. It has a lot of similar features and about half the price - It's lighter - little more compact - has all the same effects except the mic channel EQ and looper (which you could use a pedal for if you already have one). But doesn't come with bluetooth (but has an AUX in), effects loop or 9V out for pedals Still a great amp if you've got the money. BTW at 10:20 I thought you were going to go into "The Beard Accessory Store" 😂🤣

First, I prefer the room mic far above and beyond the xlr!!! That statement includes with the EQ on Mic instead of through the xlr. For me? The xlr is not worth wasting my time, I'm sorry to say. Yes, I know that I typed xlr lower case, because that is because I have no use for it in this amp. I know everyone is probably tired of hearing this, but I'm SO OLD SCHOOL the "ONLY" sound for me with acoustics is if amplification is needed?? It's a "Mic" into an amp!!! (Which is probably why I own ZERO acoustics with electronics!!! I might add that my "most recent" guitar purchase was an acoustic "WITHOUT" electronics!!! And, at this point? In the foreseeable future, I see no purchase of an acoustic with electronics, no matter how hard it is for me to find a quality acoustic without electronics. Which just goes to further prove what I've said all along...It's all about what sells. Not about what people want!!) Now, about the amp? It's great for those that want to use the electronics in acoustics. Since I'm not a fan of that??? I will only say that I really prefer the sounds that this amp has with a mic more than I can emphasize (instead of xlr, which I think radically diminishes why I want an acoustic in the first place!!!). Thank you for the great demo and review, Shane. Please keep them coming.

I liked everything about it except for the unnatural sound of the guitar which often happens when you plug in. When you used the mic to sing I felt like it made it better but picking up some of the natural acoustic sound. I've heard of mic and pick up together for recording to bring out a great sound. I feel like a (excuse my terminology) directional mic for the vocals could really help bring a more natural sound. Also, you have a great singing voice !! I like the multiple types of ways you can plug into this. If I get one and it's not at the mom and pop brick and morter I will use your link to purchase 👍👍have a good day and thanks for the review ✌️

When you strum often times there is crackling. Is it the amp, or is it just your style of playing (not fully connecting with the frets)??? It's really obvious on the front end of strumming, not as much, but sometimes on fingerpicking. I don't mean to be asking a rude question... I'm more interested in if this happens with the amp, or if your playing is just evidence in the recording of a lighter touch...
