Do you by chance know how to make oat milk and cashew milk with this machine? I tried doing it on the grains setting for the oats and they just cooked and turned to mush, do you think I should try it on the juice setting so it is cold? Any tips greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi, thanks for the video. Do you know how to make fruit jam from this kind of machine if no "jam" function around? will the soup or rice paste function do? tq
@KaLokHong3 жыл бұрын
I don't think this machine can handle fruit jam well, because it need a minimum of 900mL of water to work. You also cannot put too much content in the pot. So it can only make juice like consistency, instead of jam consistency. Rice paste function works only because cooked rice itself has thickening properties. Thanks for watching and the question.

Hi Thank you for the demonstration. The recipe says "1 cup almonds." Does it mean 1 US measuring cup (8 oz) or 1 cup as the cup that comes with the soy milk maker?
@KaLokHong3 жыл бұрын
I used the cup that comes with the maker to measure. Thanks for watching and the question.

Hi again. Thanks. How warm / hot does the nut milk function get? As warm / hot as when using the soybean function?
@KaLokHong4 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. The nut milk came out steamy hot. It taste quite good straight out from the machine. If you would like it to be less grainy, you could put it through a sieve. Thanks for watching and asking!

Thanks a lot! Can you also show porridge and the other functionalities? :) And is it possible also to do almond-butter?
@KaLokHong10 ай бұрын
I can try to shot some videos with other functionalities. But it cannot do almond-butter because it needs a minimum amount of water to operate. Thanks for the request and question. Take care.

How if we dont want the almond milk is cooked? Because we always want drink raw almond milk.

The juice function on the machine doesn’t heat up. I believe it will still grind down the almond. But I am not sure what the consistency will be. Thanks for watching my video.

Or you can save your money and put it in a regular blender that most people already have. Plus way too much pulp I would definitely strain this.

Exactly! Like most small appliances, people are only paying to buy some convenience.

@@KaLokHong yes, so I’m just trying to figure out what makes it more convenient to pay extra for this specialized appliance when you can do the very same thing in a blender that most people already own. Why is this better or the results any different than a regular blender?
@KaLokHong3 жыл бұрын
@@tammyslaughter9587 this machine is set and done. Put water and ingredients in it, push a few buttons, come back and it is cooked. If you like raw nut milk, you wouldn’t need this machine. This machine is convenient that people don’t have to watch it over the stove while cooking.
