I visited Bulgaria 2 years ago and went to 7 of these places, including the Valley of the Roses, not mentioned here. Valiko Tornovo was a favorite, but Plovdiv is amazing! The Ethnographic Museum has a room where you see how aprons are passed down and tell the story of each family; the Kapana District is a delight, vibrant with colorful painted murals and great restaurants. The city was named Cultural Capital of Europe in 2019. This well traveled Brazilian absolute loved Bulgaria, I think you would too :)
