Thanks Awesome Adam Toys, for the first Necron review. I think Joy Toy have come a long way from their early days & have really hit their stride with these WH40K figs. Proof are these latest Battle Sisters & Necrons which are brilliant "action figures" in their own right. Credit to JT for also achieving correct scaling across the range. I hope they produce that large 3-legged Necron one day !

Excellent review and I am glad to finally see the Necrons released and they look awesome! I was hoping by design the articulation would be good and it doesn't seem to generally disappoint though I'd wish the foot swivel allowed a better range of motion, are the figures generally quite light weight and easy to balance without a base? I must admit I don't like figures with cables as it really restricts the articulation and makes them more top heavy but the Deathmarks seem really cool and I like the simplicity of them as opposed to all these pouches and relics hanging in the way. I may pick up a set but then I am not sure whether to wait for the Infinity figures or just stick to Acid Rain, decisions decisions!

They balance very easily. It's definitely worth getting a set (or 2), even if just got use in customs as they are excellent stand alone figures in my humble opinion.

@@PlumbingExplained though choice. I feel the Tau are better, but the Necrons have great robot / android customisation potential

The overlord's weaponry, since you wondered about it, consists of a Hyperphase Glaive (melee weapons that can vibrate across dimensions, thus allowing them to easily slice through armor and flesh), and a Tachyon Arrow (a ranged weapon that transmutes a sliver of inert metal into a thunderbolt capable of piercing a mountain, because it's moving at the speed of light).
