Team ATTRIANS Singapore Performing Artistes together with representative collaborators from Kirana Seni Singapura, Artistari Gentari, Dian Dancers, Sriwana & Sri Warisan Som Said Performing Arts Ltd performed Gema Serumpun representing Team Singapore for JoZa Fest 2024 at Wisma Geylang Serai - Persada Budaya.
This captivating performance is a harmonious blend of Zapin and Joget, two iconic Malay dance genres, seamlessly fused to create a unique expression that honors tradition while embracing innovation. The dance showcases the elegance and rhythmic vitality of both styles, highlighting their distinct movements of each genre.
Performed by a diverse group of dancers, the piece aims to transcend individual expression, through unity and harmony in the collective movement. Reflecting the spirit of coming together, resonating with Singapore’s multicultural landscape where different cultures coexist and blend effortlessly.
