Thank you for watching. The GT-S is certainly in the same catergory as the Starboard Waterline. In glass flat conditions the Waterline has the slight edge in terms of glide and performance but the GT-S is the more stable in these conditions. The moment that there is slighty chop or any sea state then the GT-S is the board we would rather be on as it is just the more stable of the two, and has far more volume in the nose / forward sections. While certainly not an allwater board, the GT-S is the more capable in a broader range of conditions. The only thing that you cannot ignore is price as the difference is far bigger than the performance on the water; here the Waterline wins with its excellent value Lite Tech construction which is also 35% less that the GT-S Biax construction.
