I discover JP Cooper only yesterday during his concert in Paris, at the Cabaret Sauvage. What a surprise !!!! I love his voice, I love his songs! Till yesterday, I listen to every song of him. I adore !!!! I am older than him and I love music, my favourite singers and voices in the world are Stevie Wonder and Ella Fitzgerald, but many others also. What a pleasure for me to discover a new and really good singer. Your concert in Paris yesterday was absolutely fabulous. And this song , your voice with the choir, wouawwww , I have no word, a lot of emotions . Hope to see you again JP !!!

It‘s right up there with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Bad by Michael Jackson, Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Velvet Rope by Janet Jackson, 5 by Lenny Kravitz. Such a masterpiece! What an incredible song. I can't believe I have only just listened to his We Were Raised Under Grey Skies album today! JP Cooper topped the UK charts with some of his other light-hearted songs (my perspective) and I loved them almost as much as this song. There's something about this song that is so gorgeous and I can't begin to put into words how this makes me feel. You can see, the lyrics themselves, the soul this man puts into his voice whilst singing. I love how universal his works can be; there's a lot open for interpretation and his music just feels like the epitome of freedom, for me. There is Hope and Light. I thank JP Cooper and the others involved for making such an incredible song. Blessed to have been able to listen to this album and see music in a new way. Love.

Earlier this year, JP came to Indonesia and his concert was the very first concert that I ever attended... I think in the future, It would be hard for me to find any other singer/songwriter whom able to gives such live experience which matches the caliber of JP Cooper :) I still got chills when he opened with this exact song and closed with "In the Silence". I was so transcended the whole time! No doubt, if he ever comes to Indonesia again... I will buy the ticket :)
