I don't see the problem with Jiren's standby condition, it seems like a strict upgrade over "fourth turn from start of battle", which is what many old characters who were praised have. In both cases, having the unit in slot 7 will require an extra turn of waiting, but Jiren's condition has the added bonus of allowing him to transform turn 3 in he's on turn 1.

Well a million defense means he's still gotta protect himself from 2 million DMG, 60% of 2 million is 1.2mil, he's still taking 800k DMG. If that's how they calculate DMG taken.

However, I think no boss currently does more than 3 million. Obviously if any of the new events does more, Jiren will suffer a little bit.

Honestly Jiren seems really underrated. His weakest turn is his 1st turn, and I feel he can easily just standby and be a slot 1 tank unit in as FP jiren for a turn. I don't see fights going past his first turn of FP.

You are missranking broly. His base form is shooting out a 15 million ultra and 5 other 9-10 million regular supers while still guarding and raising defense. Yes, we all know hes not slot one until he's transformed. So what he functions perfectly as a slot 2. He leads an incredible team, and his transformation on turn 5 is the single strongest dokkan shredding unit we have in the game. Shooting out one 25-30 million ultra super and 5 guaranteed 18-22 million normal supers and he has damage reduction and guard to boot plus the defense raisin per super. Now throw in that dokkan is altering the domain mechanic allowing units transformations who are tied to them transform at the same time, double broly will be the ultimate killing machine in dokkan that no event can stop.
