Utley and Kent are pretty similar offensive players but Utley was a much better baserunner and defender. I have Kent in the HOF. But Utley can definitely go in ahead of him. He is the better player. Rollins doesn’t deserve it but he is an awesome guy and a great player.

Good segment but I disagree with Rollins over Utley. Utley had a much higher WAR in his 5 best seasons than Rollins did in his MVP season. And if Beltran is done being punished after one year after his involvement in the Astros cheating scandal, how about Pete Rose?

A few years ago in a HOF discussion, the talk got around to PED users and Morosi said that there are already PED users who are in the HOF. Robert Flores innocently asked, "Really? Who?". Morosi said, "Oh, I can't get into that". What a weasel.

Matty V not knowing Beltran was in his 2nd year on the ballot and his comment of “not 1st ballot HOFer” is so annoying. It also shows 2 things that it was basically league mandated that Beltran not get in on the 1st ballot cuz of him taking on the entire blame of the Astros as a lone gunman and the idiocy that a guy plays a full HOF career, but has to wait cuz other guys didn’t get in 1st try. Be better
