do i need to master all the points, or just know them even though I won't use some of them?

If you want to pass the JLPT N2, you should kind of known them all to have the best chance of passing

Can anyone comment on whether this list is reflective of the real level of difficulty of the N2 exam? I find a lot of the grammar here to be quite simple, but I am half Japanese, so maybe that's why. I plan to sit the N2 exam this December.

I am the creator of this video and made it together with my wife (who is Japanese). We went through multiple sources (including the official resources) to make this list so it should be pretty accurate. But if anyone has taken the JLPT N2 and found some rules which are missing they are free to let me know so it can be updated. As of now we have yet to receive a comment of content missing. The sentences are made simple so it's easier to get the meaning of the Grammar points, the test itself will probably have more complex sentences but the grammar points should be the same. Good luck with taking the test!

Are the readers native speakers? Sometimes the pronounciation seems weird but it might just be me...

They were native speakers ;) (my wife and her mother) They tried to speak clearly so it would be easy to understand, I guess that could be the reason of why it sometimes seems weird? 😅
