Thanks for the good review. Got some pretty good ideas on how the JP-5 works compared to the legendary MP5. This really helps when one plans to buy a JP-5 coz it ain't cheap.

thought on preferable load? go 115 higher velocity to try to provide gas to comp? or heavy and slow barely-making PF loads ignoring comp?

The recoil with 147 subs is so little , I wouldn't worry about trying to run the comp. Maybe in SBR form it might make sense, but with this I say run 125-130 pf loads and enjoy the ride.

I have a banshee. The weak part are the extractor/ejector springs. It took me a long time to get it running. Then it ran for exactly 1 year before the springs died. Good gun, just keep an eye out on the bolt.

Did yours come with the 80 locking piece installed?

Yep, and the JP locking pieces are well marked so you won't confuse them.
