I just bought a "used" 2022 road glide with 650 mi on it that came with Cobra neighbor haters. I love the deep throaty sound of them.

Inevitably we get the ''doesn't sound like a Harley'' crowd, true, but I could care less 'today'. A good sound from any bike is a good sound, and anything with two wheels and a motor is a good thing, any brand any day.

I agree, anything on 2 wheels is a good thing.. any motor sound of anything from 2 wheels is a good thing.. BUT!!!! I still want my Harley to sound like a harley

Where can I get a two in one Pipe for my TryGlide, I had a Ultra with a Thunder Header and loved it and my TryGlide is Modified and I would love to have a Pipe like that on the bike

Love mine, have the Cobra headpipe and neighbor haters, get rid of the stock M8 EPA cam and it sounds great, deep rumble at idle, performs better too.

I'm looking to do the same setup. Currently have NH slip-ons. How did the bike tune with those? I've been told by two places that I should swap out the mufflers for something with more back pressure. Can't help but wonder if they're just trying to upsell me.

I just bought a 18 Deluxe that I believe have Screaming Eagle slip ons. I think they are a little too loud but I really like the sound of these Cobras. Any advice?

If you think the SE slip on are too loud I'm not sure these would be to your liking. But I will say at these would have a lower booming tone as compared to a "crack" of the SE muffler.

Did Cobra ever give any thought to dyno their proto types with the "in house" R&D ? if so, why wasn't it talked about? No mention of torque or torque retention. Listen..Sound and Torque retention are the goals..

Buy a 2016 HD, last year of the twin cam which you can make it sound like NASCAR, versus theM8 that will always sound like a Singer Sewing machine. Neighbor Hater is a catchy name, but weak.

De Ba If you put a good into 1 exhaust on a m8 it sounds mean and loud. Thunderheader and Bassani make some quality exhaust that performs great and sounds amazing.

@@jrozay3788 Hey I love Bassani, Rhinehart, Vance & Hines, I’ve never been a big fan of 2 into 1 Thunderheader exhaust. Granted I know the thunderheader produces the most power, but I don’t like the look. I gotta have duals, pipes down both sides sounding like Dale Earnhardt. Lol. If I was one of those buying something with the M8, I’d void the whole warranty, pull the whole exhaust off all the way to the heads, and run true duals from the big three I just mentioned, with a cam, race tuner, and I’d be good. No slip ons, no screaming Eagle anything. All my years of owning new bikes, running V&H exhaust, etc... I’ve never had one repair I wish I had a warranty for, putting 10’s of thousands of miles on a bike, 500-600 mile a day road trips....There’s always that one guy, that tells you how his motor seized up with 300 miles on it and he’s glad he had a warranty, but I really think unlike our cars and trucks, Harley warranties are way over rated.

"Cuz loud pipes save lives!!"....nevermind riding skill, that has zero factor in safety on two wheels. (Smh). Sarcasm aside, i never understood the appeal of insanely loud pipes either. I upgraded my stock pipes to Cobra Swept exhaust because they were a bit louder than stock and sounded much better. They definitely are not crazy though.

Because people in cars are glued to their phone and are not looking for bikes. However you rack some pipes off they will hear that. Personal experience. Was riding with my husband & a friend. Car pulled out in front of us. Friend went down. Car had no clue we was there until my husband downshifted & racked the pipes off then she hit the ditch because she heard our pipes & then saw our friends bike sliding across the street. Got a brand new 2020 SG & it's quiet right now & we have had several cars come in our lane. Pipes are about to be changed.
