I don't really understand why he didn't mention that the 2 algorithms he used are the T perm and the R perm. Would've been much easier for CFOP solvers, cuz they wouldn't have to learn any new algorithms. I changed the corner swapping alg with Y perm, because I already know it so I only had to change the swapping position.

+David Thomas like letter pair images? that's what everyone does so you should be able to do it with enough practice. but you can also use color pairs to memorize instead, like yellow-red = french fries with ketchup. you would have to memorize more though, since each piece would be an image rather than each pair of pieces being an image

If you do the edge swap algo in the middle of the corner swap algo all pieces end up in the same places. Corner swap (first half): R U' R' U' R U R' F' Edge swap: R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F' Corner swap (second half): R U R' U' R' F R

at the end of the demonstration for the edge cycle you stop with a position i can't figure how to get out of. both the adjacent pieces are in the opposite slots so how do you get out of this situation?
@JPerm7 жыл бұрын
Sorry I don't understand the question, could you be more specific? What time in the video?

it's at 10:10 where you don't go any further. by performing the move you ste just swapping the 2 pieces orange and white and red and white.
@JPerm7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understand your question fully, but I'll try to answer. If the buffer piece (red/white) is in the correct position, you should ignore it as long as the edges are not solved yet. Move on to a new cycle at this point, which is also explained in the video. Let me know if you have more questions :)

@user-fu7no1xu5b7 жыл бұрын
I figured it out but you should still answer because other may have the same question
@JPerm7 жыл бұрын
Flipped edges are usually because you did memorization wrong (by picking the correct piece but the wrong sticker). Another time this would happen is if the edge was already in the correct spot and flipped (right after the scramble) and your memorization did not account for that. Each flipped edge is a cycle of 2 letters where you just pick one of the stickers and then the other sticker (for the BU edge, this would be AQ or QA). So the short version of it is you probably made a mistake in memorization.
@mohammadmouadi45617 жыл бұрын
