This is a group of vintage Willys Jeeps and Series 1 Landrovers Wheeling Fordyce Creek in Northern California. This is the second record of our 2 day trek starting from out campsite to the finish. …. We did all of the winch hills.
Our tire size is 31” or less. This trail is tougher than the Rubicon but very doable with a Locker Stocker Willys so long as the water level is low.
This Trail is part of a California Quadfecta that we did in 7 days. The quadfecta includes:
Dusy Ershim
Barrett Lake
Fordyce Creek
Rubicon
Participants are:
Timm - Series 1 Landrover “Penalty Box”
Ernie, Doc, - Willys CJ3A - “Lucky”
Jesse, Todd - Series 1 Landrover “SweetPea”

jpet - Willys MB “BAM BAM”
Our #jeepfabrikken friends from Norway:

CJ2A - “Two Step”
MB - “Clover”
M38 - “Trigger”
Thanks to Ernie Ongaro, Todd Steward, and Jesse Coombs for some of this video footage and Thank you for watching :)

when was this trip? I see that it was posted on 9-1-24. I was there 8-31-24 and the trail didn't look like that at all. No rocks filling in the holes, paving the way up the trail. It's awesome that you made it through, I'm just wondering when you did it. had to have been right before or at the beginning of Sierra Trek.

We did it 8-16 and 8-17. Any rock filling/stacking was not done by us.

I've done this trail multiple times, both in my big truck and my little Rover (the grey one in this video). Winch hill 3 has been dumbed down ( step jackhammered off at the bottom) but other than that, the majority wasn't "paved" like you say..... These little rigs are far more capable than the guys on 40+ tires think, and that makes a lot of them uncomfortable and they love to down play things.....
