The Evolution of F2P Teams in DBZ Dokkan Battle (2016-2024)

There's one thing they need to do to actually make F2P units gain value, and that's bump up the leaderskills, TURs should be at 70 pre eza and 120 on eza, then LRs be 100 pre eza and 130 on eza, and prime battle LRs be 150 pre eza and 160/170 post eza, it's small but it makes a massive difference

Seeing as the current meta is evolving very quickly and 200% leaders are huge(we might even go beyond in the future) I agree. Maybe not full on 170%. But up to 150% should be a leader for EZA prime battle LRs. And TUR should be 90% pre-EZA and 120% after. Leaders should still be premium units as a general.

@chuko640 definitely, and the current highest F2P lead is earthlings 160 with PB krillin, maybe that could change if SEZAs take the same path that normal EZAs did, start on premium units, they continue to tweak it (i.e. they become an upgrade to everything like normal EZAs are) ans then get introduced to F2P units, starting with the oldest and moving their way up as the months and years pass

I will forever love f2p units. There was a time long ago when the Int UI Goku debuted and was the hardest event in the game, and Im talking people considered it harder than Str Broly. I had just started Dokkan, no LRs, no teams with links, just a few good units from scattered categories and the f2p pre-EZA Ginyu squad. Those units, more specifically that Recoome and Ginyu, were the reasons I not only beat the stage but was able to grind all the medals needed to awaken the Int UI Goku. F2P aren't just a nice treat for players to have, but the ultimate life line for brand new players who start the game

The passive skill triggering in the top left makes me feel nostalgic. 2016/2017 Dokkan was truly peak even though rewards and animations were bad compared to today

It's crazy to know how far F2P has come for Dokkan, it's the best thing ever, and I can imagine the first Super EZA for Prime Battle will be amazing

I remember struggling so much on STR Gogeta's dokkan event, only being able to beat it at all without spending dragon stones once I got STR Gogeta myself, even pre-TUR he made the event feel actually possible

Lr master roshi is still my favourite f2p lr over the years. The dude had some many uses and he was relevant to the top category at the time. He has saved my ass so many times with the dodges and revive it was crazy. Its sad that we didnt get a f2p lr like him again. And playing this game over the years makes you realize how far we all have come as players. It still feels unreal that 6 ani was 3 years ago

They gotta make eza f2p lrs on eza have 120/150% leader skills I like to run beerus on a non f2p team, but hes a good example of a unit with a not very strong leader skill in tough fights, but at least beerus is good enough to at minimum not take 800k from a normal and perish ❤ (LOVE MY KING LR PHY PJS BEERUS)

Back in the 2015 days of F2P I remember grinding hours to get 1 strike unit finished I do wish F2P wasn’t so weak these days I was mostly using F2P only units for years til the recent years where it’s just not even close to summonable teams Would never skip F2P units for many years

F2ps arent weak nowadays, its just that the hardest content is designed for the best units like 6th anni lrs, beast, cell max etc. We have never had units as strong as theyre now
