HSR is an AMAZING game and I don't even need to use the qualifier "for a mobile game" to say that. I've been playing since launch and still love it. The gameplay is so much fun as the simple battle mechanics get very intricate when you reach the endgame. The characters are interesting and actually develop as the story progresses. That story being updated every few weeks means there's always something new to play around with. Even if you never summon on premium banners and exclusively stick to the f2p banner you can still clear the story and most end game content. Genuine 10/10 game for me and unlike JPhanta I'm not even being paid to say that.

Your summary at the end is exactly how I feel about it. Basically every lead they have kinda goes nowhere and everything just resets. On top of that every character they meet just does the exact same thing they were doing in the main timeline. Even hearing the whole thing again, it's hard to follow and is just plain nonsensical. I should catch up with the story. I'm not interest in playing Dokkan anymore, and last time I played the story mode, it was during a training with Piccolo around Area 20s and that's over 5 years ago. 24:48 I guess that means they were retcon to be from the same world as Dabura then. I forgot those 2 exist in Quest Mode, as they're one off characters from OG DB filler.

Dokkan Battle is basically a dollar store version of Dragon Ball which uses only the most unhype characters. Even that specific transformation of Broly is worth so little that they replaced it with normal ssj in the second movie.
