What’s going on at Universal Studios Hollywood this summer?

Today we're back at Universal Studios Hollywood to check out all of the updates inside of the park! The theme park is undergoing an interesting summer- from no live entertainment (outside of waterworld) to no new attractions. The park attendance has also been suprisingly low. It’s kinda sad how universal in Orlando gets way more love than in Hollywood. We lost two shows and nothing really new is happening or coming in Hollywood except the rollercoaster and in Florida they’re getting a whole new theme park along with the other two they already have which have new things coming as well

I doubt it’s less love, it’s mostly likely because they have less land to work with.

@@_.Dubberas a resident of Los Angeles, definitely not. This park is 100% landlocked unless they remove something. Every foot of space outside of universal is used for the next 100 miles or so in both directions lol

They are definitely using all the land that they have to work with in Hollywood. They can only expand so far because of the working film studio and backlots (where is where all the money is really made). They can’t build too close to the studio otherwise it can cause issues with filming. And the park itself is using as much of the available space they can, which is why they are building the Fast and Furious ride on the side of the hill basically.

I’m so happy I got to see Woody, Blanch, Marylin, eat calzones and bag merch over 4th of July weekend. Watching DM4 at AMC Universal Cinema was a plus. A lot of Nicole fans cheering

I just have to say, you can’t really compare Orlando to Hollywood. Orlando has the space to expand. Since Hollywood is a working film studio that takes up a lot of the space, the space is limited to new attractions which they are using the best they can. Granted, having live shows would be great.
