We have dumped enough money to line the pockets of the Ukrainian leadership. We need to spend that money here to secure our own borders. Russia is weak. If they are having this much difficulty taking Ukraine, they have no chance whatsoever of taking any other nations especially given how depleted they are of manpower and weapons. The gaslighting on this issue is ridiculous and it is costing the US taxpayer hundreds of billions with no end in sight.

Out of the box? Controlling a country’s border is the only way to protect its sovereignty. Good grief this isn’t rocket science. There is absolutely no reason this hasn’t been put in check at the Southern Border and this administration should be held accountable. Those young people are being repressed beyond belief, and since the United Nations NATO, the world bank did not help these blooming countries they slowly became dictatorships. The only reason I consider Jamie Dimond reasonable is because he does not spout the party line. He takes a little from both sides. I can only believe someone supports Ukraine to protect democracy. If he also believes the borders must be protected. Diamond does this. The fact that the administration is giving practically unlimited money to Ukraine, while overseeing the most poorest border in the history of our country is a sin against American values and constitutional obligations. How this cadaver of a president can pick and choose which laws he wants to support is anathema to the obligations of the office.

I totally agree with Jamie Dimon on both Ukraine and stronger borders. As a lifelong Republican, I can’t understand the short-sightedness of the party in its reluctance to support Ukraine over Russia. Does anyone in congress have a grasp of geopolitics or recent history? Here we have a chance to help Ukraine defeat and weaken one of the West’s greatest adversaries over the last century without directly putting American soldier’s lives at risk. If Putin prevails, it will be terrible for the West for decades to come, and there’s a good chance it emboldens China to make moves of its own. It just kills me to think the party of Reagan who was key in the downfall of the Soviet Union is now willing to cower to Russia.

You can’t understand it because you obviously know nothing about Ukraine and how financially entangled with the Ukraine our ruling class is. Nobody is cowering before Putin. Ukraine just isn’t strategically important except as a massive money laundering scheme. You, my friend, are a chump.

I remember seeing a CNBC interview with two guests/ "experts" from, i think, give or take, the middle of the year--third quarter of 2022, where they discussed China and Taiwan. At least one of them said, based on info. that he had been given by U.S. military and govt. personnel, that China would DEFINITELY have started the invasion of Taiwan by the end of 2022/ first quarter of 2023.
