This channel is SO refreshing! I got into Kpop in 2007 (with SNSD) but before that I was strictly a Jpop girly, and the main reason why I veered into the Kpop direction was because SNSD's structure and girly concept reminded me of the jpop girl groups I was already listening to at the time (in addition to the J-Divas of the early 00s, Koda..Ayumi..Namie). Thank you for also mentioning how the vibe basically started in the Showa era as well, I feel many tend to skip over that unless they briefly mention "CityPop". Looking forward to more videos! Though you mentioned kind of "grr girl crush >:(" do you think you'd ever make a video though, showing Girl Crush within Jpop? (Either through groups or solo acts ie. Koda, Foxxi Misq and E-Girls. They come to mind right off the bat as not following the kawaii/mote-kei aesthetic directly or all the time).

honestly one of the best things kpop coulda taken and been inspired by. the kpop christian horse girl music is still one of the best and it always stands the test of time. truly, we need more.

i just click this video because i'm into idol at the moment.never realise i was this early to a video (1 hour mark). maybe this is some kind of a sign? XD
