Anuja Chauhan worked in advertising for 17 years selling colas, chips and chocolates before deciding to do something healthier for a living. Armed and Dangerous: Of Words and Lovers:
Amitava Kumar and Manu Joseph, two high octane contemporary writers stand up for the play of words and tell it as it is. Manu Joseph, author of numerous novels, including Miss Layla: Armed and Dangerous, brings his devastating humour and sharp wit to a stand up version of the social anthropology of writers and the writing process. American professor and novelist Amitava Kumar has recently written The Lovers , which melds story and reportage, anecdote and annotation through a protagonist in search of love. He brings his caustic eye to the creative process as he speaks of his own novels and creative output as well as books, literature and reading.
