A very interesting tour and plenty of rock formations. The steel work on the bridge has that look like it was realigned when it went down to one track but I really love that little walkway area by the abutments. I would say the water is fairly clean and then I heard you mention Avoca and that was the site of a fairly large tie treating plant that had a 24" ga rail operation. In fact when the Granville WI Moss American Plant shut down in 1976 they shipped a 10-ton locomotive there. Here almost 50 years later creosote still occasionally bubbles out of the ground and goes down a creek marked caution skin burning hazard

Great explore & interesting area!!!! Love the underwater video as well!!!! I used to jump off of some dangerous places into water, but I could NEVER see myself jumping off of that bridge. Too small of a margin for error & once your feet leave the ground, there's not much you can do to change how & where you're gonna land. There's a flipside to what you said about the person who did the graffiti on that ledge. Either they needed a U-Haul to carry their cajones..............or a teaspoon to carry their brains!!!! Thanks again for bringing us along for another explore!!!! 😀

I absolutely loved the entire video, but my favorite part was definitely the landscape. What a beautiful, oasis of nature, amidst so much surrounding hustle and bustle. Of course the train Bridge was awesome as well. I love to see trains, especially old steam engines, but there is just something special about being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Will be looking forward to seeing you in the next video. Until then stay safe and God bless. 😊 Steve in Oklahoma

Well, first of all you never go out onto a railroad bridge or trestle on a line that still has traffic. Even if that is only once or twice a month. Railroads are very unsafe. But I agree with your assessment that walking between the rails would be a lot safer than out on the ends of those bridge timbers with ice on them. I put a comment on here explaining how unsafe it is to trespass on railroad property, but it apparently fell on deaf ears, so I deleted it. I had 40 years in the railroad industry, so I have quite a bit of experience on the subject. I was relieved when JP decided to get off this bridge. There were no safe places to be if a train came. Even if he laid down on the outside of the track, there's a good chance he'd be hit by parts of the railcars and end up on the rocks or the water. And no longer be alive.

There was a cave where I grew up where water ran out of the cave and ran into a hole about 8 feet from where the cave opened. People would go there and fuck it up. A few friends and I went in AFTER it was cut off from the outside world. We went in with Trash bags and tried to clean up what the (Ass Holes) lefts behind. We gathered many Black trash bags of stuff before we left.

Live 4 ever - die young, it says on the wall. Makes no sense to me. I don't suppose you know what kind of rock it is, by the river. Must be soft, if people can carve their names into it. I have never seen a wild snake in my life. I am 66 years old. What you call ties, we call sleepers in the UK. Great underwater footage. The fish were interesting and I have also never seen an inchworm. Super video. 🥰
