J.R. let me tell you a little story about how Dishwalla took the Philippines by a Super Storm. In 2002 there was a chat room called PalTalk. A social gathering entertainment that revolves around music and communication. Mostly members sing to show their talents and others just relax, play tunes and chat at the same time. Now I have been a fan of Dishwalla since "Counting Blue Cars" (Pet Your Friends) exploded in to the Billboard Charts. Then when the album "Opaline" came out in 2002, that's when I started playing the CD in the chat room over and over and the song "Every Little Thing" became the most popular song amongst us Filipinos especially to those who fell in love in that chat room. As you know Filipinos are suckers for ballads/love songs. Up until now, every time the songs "Every Little Thing", "Angels or Devils", "Somewhere in the Middle", "Home", and "Give" are played from a car, bar, or at their homes , my friends and ex-girlfriends always remind me and thank me for introducing them to Dishwalla. Believe me your music have touched a lot of souls in the Philippines. Keep it up! You are one of the most underrated musician out there. Filipinos are proud of you and thank you so much for your music!

Here's my story of discovering Dishwalla . I was watching a movie , unfortunately I can't remember the title ,very good movie , a long time ago . But the soundtract was awesome so when credits ran - I saw it was them and looked them up and been a huge fan of J. R. and Dishwalla !!! Don't understand why they aren't played more on the air . His voice is amazing.

Every Little Thing The best acoustic cover by JR Richards and of my fave music of all time tho it pains me to hear this cuz it reminds me of the person who I loved so dearly that I even told him "Wish I could be, every little thing you wanted". Now we are friends and we communicate every once in a while. He is a single father to his daughter named Pauline and I even asked him why did he named his daughter "Pauline" its like calling your ex's name but in different spelling cuz mine is "Paoline" and he just said that he named it after his name "Paul John" but I remembered that we used to create names and save it in our thoughts cuz we will be using those names to our future babies. Well he did but not our babies. Thanks for this perfect cover. It reminds me how to love and be love and get hurt at the same time. He's still have a special space in my heart but we are just waiting for the perfect timing, if the right time comes cuz what I want him to do is to focus to his daughter. He got separated with the mom of his daughter but they were never married. Filipinos love your creations and can relate to your creations. It's been a decade but your music can travel back to your time by simply closing your eyes and just listen to it. 🇵🇭😍♥️
